A big well done to Emily Chappell for winning the Travel Blogger of the Year 2012 Award.
Emily is currently cycling around the world whilst writing about her travels and experiences along the way. Her fascinating writing style and ease at which she draws readers in always has me waiting for the next instalment in her adventures.
I can’t remember how I found out about her blog, but having worked in the outdoor sports events industry for the last 2 years I’d heard about her writings. It took me some time to make the connection that Emily used to live in the flat above me in Edinburgh whilst on her family holidays, and she’d already crossed most of Europe by this point.
